Each class runs with up to seven people. All of the classes involve Hands-On cookery as well as observing & making notes. After the class, we have the time to sit down with a glass of wine and taste the dishes that we have cooked during the class. This way, you will enjoy both the cooking class and the dining / lunching out.
As the courses are proving to be popular, you may now purchase gift vouchers to redeem against any of the courses detailed below within six months of purchasing the voucher.

You will learn:
- Where to shop & what to buy when making sushi
- How to cook sushi rice properly
- How to prepare raw fish for sashimi and sushi
- How to prepare non-fish fillings or toppings for sushi
- How to make variety of sushi: thin rolls, fat rolls, inside-out rolls, hand rolls, Oshi-zushi (compressed sushi), Nigiri-zushi (hand-moulded sushi)
- How to make miso soup

- All of the ingredients including a variety of top quality sashimi fish, such as TUNA, YELLOW TAIL, SEA BREAM, SALMON...plus non fish fillings

SEASONAL CLASS - CANAPES FROM THE EAST

The contents of the class;
- First, we go through the necessary basic dry ingredients
- You will be shown how to make and serve 8 popular canapés mainly from Japan, Thailand and China.
1. Calamari &Watercress Tempura
2. Prawn Noodle Salad w/ Sesame Dressing
3. Aubergines with Sweet Miso & Ginger
4. Thai Green Chicken w/ Red Pepper
5. Minced Pork w/ Hoi Sin Sauce in Crispy Lettuce
6. Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls
7. Ban Ban Chicken w/ Creamy Sesame Sauce
8. Deep Fried Miso & Mozzarella Rice Balls
- Everybody gets involved (Hands On) to create our canapé party in the class.
- We will be sampling the canapés made in the class with a few selected wines to suits.
- You will take away printed recipes, which explains the vegetarian options and recommends alternative ingredients.

COURSES - 4 SESSIONS
This is a casual & friendly Japanese cooking course which everyone will enjoy learning about the basics for Japanese food, cooking and tasting.
In the first session, you will learn about tips for preparation, how to choose ingredients, places to shop…. All the essentials. Four sessions will then cover a variety of sauces, salad dressings and dishes. You will also learn how to present the dishes and table manners throughout the course.

PRIVATE COURSE

Private class is very popular for a special gift. The advantage of the private class is that you can choose the date, time and dishes you want to learn. Class can be held from one person up to max 7 people.
Price
£160 for the first person, £70 for the each additional person.
There will be an extra charge for the ingredients depending on the dishes you choose.
Duration
Between 2 hours and 4 hours depending on the numbers of people.
20% will be added for the weekend class.
